New Changes in the JAC Board Class 10 Exam
- Single-Term Exams: Unlike previous years, 2024 will have a single-term exam. The OMR sheet-based evaluation has been discontinued. You will be provided with question-and-answer booklets for secondary exams. You have to write your answers in the provided booklet. This means you have to be very cautious in utilizing the given space for an answer. You need to write the relevant answers only within the prescribed word limit.
- Question Paper Pattern: Get ready for a mix of 30% multiple-choice questions, 50% short and long answer questions, and 20% internal assessment marks. This means out of 100 marks, 30 marks will be of MCQ nature, 50 questions will be short and long questions, and 20 marks will be awarded in the internal assessment which includes projects, activities, and viva.
- Multiple Choice Magic: Each MCQ will have four options (A, B, C, D). In the question and answer booklet, you have to write the answer along with the option.
- For example: If a question has four options: A - abc B - efg C - klm D - pqr and you think the correct answer is Option (A), then instead of writing only "A", you need to write "A - abc".
