Tips to Score Well in the WBBSE Class 10 Board Exam

  1. Stick to the syllabus: Be very particular in studying according to the latest syllabus. As there are some changes in the syllabus of the 2023-24 board exam, students should study from the latest books based on the latest curriculum. Since the majority of students are from government schools, they usually buy old edition books that do not fulfill the needs of the current pattern.
  2. Make a Study schedule: Do not make a very sophisticated timetable. Keep it simple. And you also don't need to write it on paper. Just decide in your mind, how much time you are going to devote to each subject each day.
  3. Self-study: This is particularly important in today's social media generation. Do not rely on shortcuts to YouTube videos. Focus on your prescribed textbooks. Most students think watching YouTube videos is studying. But that is not completely true. That study will be useful only when you will do self-study. Start writing down what you learn, this will strengthen your concepts and you will be able to identify your weak areas.
  4. Focus on maths: It has been very rightly said by our teachers that if you can score well in Mathematics, there is a very high possibility that you will score well in other subjects. Maths is something that needs practice. Make sure you give at least 2 hours daily to maths. Even if you think that you are good at maths, it is highly recommended that you regularly practice the numerical problems. This will take care of your revision, concept clarity, calculation mistakes, and time management.
  5. Previous Years' Questions: PYQs are a great source to know the type of questions that are asked in the previous board exams. Based on this, you will get an idea of what questions can be asked in the 2023-24 board exam. So make sure that you practice at least the last 5 years questions of each subject before your board exams.

So these are some tips from my side for you to ace your WBBSE Class 10 Madhyamik exams. Work hard and honestly. This will surely take you to a better position in your life. Always make sure you are honest to yourself. There is hardly 2 months left for your exams, so without wasting your time, devote your precious time in study. All the Best!
